An intensive two-day residential workshop held in a relaxing and peaceful setting, chosen specifically to provide the ultimate environment for self-development and empowerment of those struggling with self-defeating and repeated patterns emerging within relationships. Whether the struggle is within one major relationship or other significant relationships; this workshop aims to make sense of destructive patterns and make manageable chaotic and unreasonable behaviours that pose a threat not only to our own wellbeing but also to those who are dear to us.
The damage is often wide spread: harming loved ones, causing financial disaster, destroying careers and bringing with it, self harm, depression, anger and self esteem issues, loss of status, divorce, broken relationships, unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases; the list goes on.
The Love Trap workshop will explore issues that lead to intense and demanding relationships that often end with shattering disappointment, sorrow and a lack of commitment; ultimately betrayal of the self.
A deeper understanding of the underlying foundations and entrance into ‘The Love Trap’ will help to change thinking styles and behaviours thus addressing the exhausting swings from emotional intensity to withdrawal that characterizes Love Addiction.
You will learn tools and skills designed to self empower and enable personal choice in order to let go of habits and compulsions that have been destructive in the past.

Present:
“Beyond our Wildest Dreams”
An Evening with Dr. Michael Picucci
Michael will celebrate his 30th anniversary in recovery and life experiences with us, a story and journey beyond his wildest dreams. During the event, he will be offering a brief sharing of his recovery experience along with:
(1) a healing updated perspective on relapse and prevention;
(2) describing an in-depth Stage Two recovery process that dissolves trapped-frozen trauma energy in our nervous systems thereby creating expansiveness and more fully delivering on the 12-step “Promises;”
(3) the importance, and process of sexual healing that can transform sex into Soul Energy eXchange (S.E.X.) for grounding soulful connectedness with ourselves and others.
(4) and, the on-going, expanding, possibilities available in our recovery.
Always an engaging heart felt speaker, Michael promises to share what has brought him strength and hope. He intends to use his story to focus an experiential event, allowing each attendee to leave the evening with a unique, personal, and meaningful take-home message that comes from within us.
In the year 2000, Dr. Picucci was co-jointly honored by the National Institutes on Health (NIH/NIDA) and the National Association of Addiction Professionals with the “Outstanding Leadership in Research” award for his fieldwork and book illustrating and integrating the Stage One and Stage Two recovery processes, and beyond. For more information go to his related web sites: www.michaelpicucci.net, www.theinstitute.org or Google.
Please join us for this special evening celebrating the Crossroads experience and the vast possibilities on your own recovery journey.
